We are open from 7:30AM to 6:00PM. Our lunch is scheduled between 12:00PM and 1:00 and we are unavailable during this time. Our phones are answered between 8:00AM and 5:00PM. Appointments are scheduled during office hours only.
After Hours?
Our physicians are available for emergencies after office hours. In case of an emergency, please call the office at 816-453-6777 and you will be instructed further. As with any life-threatening emergency please go to your nearest emergency room.Phone Calls?
We answer our phones from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If we are unavailable to answer the phones our automated attendant will be able to direct your call. Messages are returned as soon as possible or within 24 hours, depending on your specific need. Routine questions and concerns should be addressed in your office visit with the physician and are treated as lower priority issues. It is recommended that you write down your concerns and bring them with you to your appointment.Office Visits?
Office visits are scheduled for our patients from Monday through Thursday. Our office will make every attempt to schedule your appointment at the most convenient time for you between 7:30 and 5:00. You should make every effort to arrive on time for your appointment since we have allotted a specific amount of time for the physician to spend with you. It is recommended that you write down your concerns and bring them with you to your appointment.
Deductible, Coinsurance and Copayments?
We require payment at the time service is rendered. If you have insurance coverage we will verify your benefits. When your benefits are verified we will calculate your payment due. This calculation is an estimate only. Any balance that may become your responsibility after your insurance processes your claim will be billed to you and should be paid promptly.
No Insurance Coverage Discounts?
Our office, in compliance with federal regulations, does not offer “no insurance prices”. We will, however, offer a prompt payment discount of 20% for services rendered when paid in full at the time of service. This offer does not apply where contractual obligations stipulate that we are liable for usual and customary adjustments from contracting/participating insurance carriers.Appointment Cancellation?
We require 24 hour advance notice of cancellations. Our financial policy states that we will charge your account a “No Show” fee without 24 hour advance notice. New patient appointments also require a 24 hour advance notice of cancellation. We will charge a $150.00 rescheduling fee to reschedule a new patient who has a previous “No Show” on file. This $150.00 will be forfeited if the new patient again fails to give 24 hour advance cancellation.
Refill Requests?
We require 72 hours to refill your prescription. Please call a minimum of 72 hours in advance of needing your prescription. Please keep in mind that our office in closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Prescription requests made on Wednesday and Thursday may not be refilled until the following week.
Prescriptions for Minors?
It is the policy of this office that we do not give prescriptions to minors without adult knowledge and consent. Please contact us prior to pick up for extenuating circumstances.
Form Completion?
We require 14-21 days for form completion. Please bring in your forms, IE: Disability, Medical Leave of Absence, Return to Work and leave with the receptionist. Once the physician has completed your request we will notify you of the fee for completion. All fees must be paid prior to picking up the forms.
